Managing Director
Nicholas Goeser
Nicholas Goeser, PhD, is the Managing Director for Transform Ag, and a long-time agricultural organization leader. He has agricultural strategy development, farmer support program and research experience in the areas of row crop and vegetable production, agricultural market development, dairy production, manure management and nutrient cycling. Nick has served as CEO for the American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America. He has also held the position of Vice President for both the National Corn Growers Association and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, focusing on agricultural productivity and soil health.
Nick served as the first Director of The Soil Health Partnership. Prior to that, he served as a Technology Development Representative in the corn and soybean seed industry, and Agronomic Research Manager on a commercial potato farm. He completed his MS in agronomy and PhD in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin. His doctoral research focused on the evaluation of crop productivity, nutrient use efficiency and nutrient cycling.
Head of Operations
Laura Demetrion
Laura Demetrion is Head of Operations at Transform Ag, where she serves as the organization's operational integrator, translating strategy into systems, resourcing and accountable execution across the team. She holds organizational oversight of USDA grant compliance and audit readiness, and the operational infrastructure that connects the team's external-facing program work to its internal capacity. She also leads the organization's staffing strategy and is the operational liaison to USDA and other funders.
Laura brings a decade of experience spanning federal programs, government consulting and early-stage initiative development, including seven years at Booz Allen Hamilton advising the U.S. Department of Energy's ARPA-E program on the design and management of large-scale, mission-driven technology initiatives. She holds an MBA from Duquesne University and a B.S. in Environmental Science from Chatham University.
Senior Director of Market Development
Travis Deppe
Travis Deppe is Senior Director of Market Development at Transform Ag, where he builds strategic partnerships and strengthens the market foundations that support farmer-facing programs. He works with processors, buyers, industry and allied organizations, and USDA stakeholders to ensure program growth aligns with verified market demand, operational capacity and long-term viability.
With experience in farming, business development, stakeholder engagement and sustainability, Travis brings practical industry perspective and a relationship-driven approach to his work. He holds a master’s degree in Crop and Soil Science from Illinois State University and is a Certified Crop Adviser in Illinois. A fourth-generation farmer, he lives on his family farm outside Mount Pulaski, Illinois, with his wife and three children.
Director of Farmer and Partner Success
Chan Mazour
Chan Mazour is Director of Farmer and Partner Success for Transform Ag. He works with a team to build and implement processes that transform markets for American Farmers – focused specifically on fostering an end-to-end supply chain that provides value to the American Farmer and their partners to produce and market traceable crops.
Chan has worked previously for BASF, Monsanto and Indigo in his career across seeds, biotech traits, crop protection, water use and the whole system of agricultural production. This journey has blessed him to be part of teams to launch different products across the U.S and other countries across the world. He has also become keenly interested in learning and navigating how plants and soil interact in the carbon accounting process to understand how a focus on Carbon Intensity acts as a proxy to multiple other agricultural benefits.
Chan grew up on a dryland farm in south-central Nebraska and now lives outside of Firth, Nebraska with his wife Deanna. They have four adult children. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln he studied agronomy, plant breeding/genetics and business.
Director of Finance & Compliance
Echo Domingues
Echo Domingues is Director of Finance & Compliance for Transform Ag. She works to oversee the financial management, grants administration and compliance processes that support effective program implementation and ensure fiscal accountability across initiatives.
Echo brings more than 20 years of experience in federal financial management, grants administration, and policy oversight. She has held key roles across the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U.S. House of Representatives, where she managed large-scale federal programs, advanced financial accountability and supported the development of policies aligned with national priorities. Her passion for public service was shaped by her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer and continues to guide her collaborative and mission-driven approach.
Echo holds a Master of Public Health in International Health from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
