Dairy Manure Management Incentive

Transform Ag provides farmer-first funding, planning support and vendor coordination to help dairy farms implement an NRCS Nutrient Management (Conservation Practice Standard 590) plan and gain access to new markets and expand existing markets.

Overview

Strong dairy operations mean a greater supply of real, nutritious food; more agricultural jobs; support for local businesses and a stronger tax base in the rural communities that depend on them.

This incentive helps dairy farmers modernize manure management plans and implement systems that are often out of reach without outside financing.

Payments cover the documented, actual cost of nutrient management plan implementation, with multi-year agreements.

  • Expected payment range: $50,000 – $1,000,000 per farm

  • Total incentive pool: up to ~$12 million

  • Agreement length: Multi-year

  • Applications are evaluated on several factors download this guide for more information.
